    The KYN61-40.5 armored metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear cabinet) is a switchgear unit designed and improved by our factory based on our previous products.

    Overview

    The KYN61-40.5 armored metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear cabinet) is a redesigned and upgraded version of our factory’s previous product. It is suitable for three-phase AC power systems with a frequency of 50 Hz and is used for receiving and distributing electrical energy, as well as for controlling, protecting, and monitoring the circuit. 
    This switchgear cabinet is equipped with a variety of interlocks to prevent misoperation, including interlocks that prevent the handcart from being moved under load, prevent the earthing switch from being closed while energized, and prevent unauthorized entry into energized compartments. 
    This switchgear is equipped with high-performance ZN85 and VN1 vacuum circuit breakers, or ABB’s VD4 and HD4 series vacuum circuit breakers. The switchgear is a distribution device that features advanced technology, stable performance, a rational structure, convenient operation, and high safety and reliability.

    ◆ The cabinet body is fabricated from aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets using CNC machining and then assembled by bolting or riveting, resulting in a fully modular structure. 
    ◆ It can be equipped simultaneously with ZN85-40.5 vacuum circuit breaker hand carts, VN1, VD4, or HD4 vacuum circuit breaker hand carts, and the main busbar of the switchgear can be directly connected without the need for a transition cabinet.

    ◆ The cable compartment offers ample space, ensuring that the clear air clearance between phases exceeds 300 mm, eliminating the need for additional insulating partitions between phases.

    Terms of Use 
    ◆ Ambient temperature: not higher than +40°C, not lower than -25°C; 
    ◆ Altitude: not exceeding 1000 m; 
    ◆ Relative humidity: daily average not greater than 95%; monthly average not greater than 90%. 
    ◆ Locations free from flammable gases, explosion hazards, severe contamination, chemical corrosion, and frequent severe vibrations.

    Environmental conditions

    When the switchgear is operated under ambient conditions that exceed those specified in this user manual, the manufacturer and the user may negotiate and reach an agreement on any special operating conditions that go beyond the normal operating limits. To prevent condensation, the switchgear is equipped with a heater, which shall be put into service when the switchgear is in standby mode. Even during normal operation, attention should be paid to ensuring that the heater is properly activated. 
    The heat dissipation issue in switchgear cabinets can be addressed by installing additional ventilation equipment.
