    Overview

    The XGN66-12(Z) fixed-type enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear cabinet) is our company’s new-generation complete set of high-voltage electrical equipment, compliant with the national standard GB 3906 “AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear for 35 kV and Below” and the Ministry of Electric Power standard DLT 404 “Technical Specifications for Ordering Indoor AC High-Voltage Switchgear,” as well as the international standard IEC 60298 “AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Control Equipment for Voltages Above 1 kV and Below 52 kV.” This product incorporates advanced foreign technologies, features a compact footprint—only about 50% of that of conventional switchgear cabinets—and boasts high reliability and excellent performance in its circuit breakers. It also benefits from a reliable and simple “five-protection” interlocking mechanism. The switchgear cabinet is an indoor, complete assembly designed for 3.6 kV, 7.2 kV, and 12 kV three-phase AC systems at 50 Hz, with a single busbar configuration and sectionalized busbars, intended for receiving and distributing electrical energy. In addition, it provides functions such as circuit control, protection, and monitoring, making it suitable for use in various types of power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, and other facilities. It can also be combined with ring-main units for application in switchgear stations.

    Operating Environment Conditions

    Structural Features

    ◆ The cabinet body is fabricated by welding high-quality angle steel; 
    ◆ The circuit breaker compartment is located in the lower section of the cabinet, facilitating installation, commissioning, and maintenance. It is standardly equipped with a VS1 circuit breaker and features a pressure-relief channel to ensure personal safety;

    ◆ An advanced and reliable rotary isolating switch is employed, enabling safe access to the circuit breaker compartment for maintenance while the main busbar remains energized; 
    ◆ Enclosure protection rating: IP2X; 
    ◆ Equipped with a reliable, fully functional mandatory mechanical interlocking device that conveniently and effectively meets the “five-protection” requirements; 
    ◆ Features a reliable grounding system; 
    ◆ The door is equipped with an observation window, allowing clear visibility of the operating status of the components inside the cabinet; 
    ◆ The operating mechanism interlock adopts the JSXGN interlocking mechanism used in XGN2-12 switchgear, which is simple, reliable, convenient, and practical. 
    ◆ Incoming and outgoing cables are routed below the front of the cabinet for convenient connection by users.
